New Brunswick Curriculum Framework
for Early Learning and Care
At WCA Childcare Inc. & WCA Preschool Discovery Center we follow the New Brunswick Curriculum Framework for Early Learning and Care (English). Learning through play is viewed as the cornerstone of the curriculum. Our curriculum follows a play-based, child focused model. Activities and materials are chosen by the children and teachers to reflect the children’s interests and developmental goals. The children, the ECE staff, and the parents are all co-contributors to our curriculum. This curriculum is based on the vision that all children will grow to their fullest potential with dignity, a sense of self-worth, and a zest for living and learning.
